This vegan fitness and activity week in Playa Del Carmen Mexico will take you away from the routine and stresses of everyday life, you’ll be taken care of from the moment you land until the moment you leave by Emma, the founder of Vegan Adventure Holidays and qualified vegan Health Coach.

Stay in a beautiful luxury apartment or villa and be part of a friendly and fun small group of like-minded women, single vegan travellers are especially welcome!

You’ll have all your health and fitness needs taken care of and because we understand that everybody comes for a different reason whether it’s fitness or feel-good relaxation, all the training sessions are optional. Depending on your personal fitness goals you’ll be advised on how many sessions to do to help you achieve them.

ITINERARY

Day 1Arrival Day Cancun Airport

You’ll be flying into Cancun International airport where all the vegan adventures begin! The coastal town of Playa Del Carmen which will be your base for the next week is known for its palm-lined beaches, coral reefs, and rapidly expanding vegan scene, you’re going to love it!

Once you arrive at the apartment/villa you can settle in, relax, take a dip in the pool or have a stroll around the area before we have our welcome activity and first dinner together before an early wake up for day two when things really get going.

Day 2Playa Del Carmen

We start off nice and early this morning with sunrise yoga session followed by a healthy vegan breakfast to set us up for the day. Next is your welcome talk, where we’ll go through everything involved in the week and answer any questions. It’s then straight into a variety of fitness sessions through to lunch where you’ll be served something light and healthy.

Throughout the week we have approximately 10 fitness classes, with elements of cardio, resistance, core and stretch. Each day will be set by our local personal trainer.

The afternoon is then yours to relax; chill by the pool, head to the beach, take a walk into town, or just find a nice spot for some afternoon reading. We’ll finish the day with an optional 5k nature walk before a well-deserved evening meal, a full day of feel-good exercise, and a perfect balance of rest and relaxation done!

Day 3Playa Del Carmen

Today will be similar to day 2 but with an additional SUP session! Experience the Caribbean Sea the best way possible; floating on a paddle-board toward the rising sun.

If you’ve never done standup paddleboarding before, you’ll receive a basic intro that takes about 5 – 10 minutes to help you get started, it’s pretty easy to learn the basics and our local guide will make sure you’re safe while in the water.

Functional fitness sessions and an evening yoga stretch class are still on the itinerary for today before another tasty and healthy vegan dinner.

Day 4Playa Del Carmen

Today will be similar to day 3 but with an additional beach volleyball session!

Volleyball is a great way to stay fit and healthy, it’s a sport involves the integration of optimal physical activity combined with different movements such as jumping, running and squatting. It has a profound positive impact on your cardiovascular, respiratory health and overall wellbeing – also, who doesn’t want to hang out on the beach for a few hours!

Day 5Playa Del Carmen

Today will be similar to day 4 but with an additional Latin dance fitness session!

Salsa and Latin style dancing gives you the cardio that your heart needs, it improves circulation and increases respiration. It strengthens a variety of muscles and bones and keeps your joints flexible, all this while being fun at the same time!

Day 6Playa Del Carmen

This morning we’re heading to the beach for fitness classes with an ocean view!

Today we’ll be incorporating high-intensity interval training in a session that focuses on aspects of fitness such as endurance and core reinforcement. The session includes functional movements using bodyweight exercises and compound movements with light to moderate weight to improve agility, endurance, strength, and core.

You’ll be ready for a well-deserved swim in the sea after this session!

Day 7Departure Day Cancun Airport

For those leaving, the group transfer will take you to Cancun airport where you will head home after an amazing week but this might not be the end of your journey – for anyone looking to continue the adventure, joining a Vegan Adventure Holidays Side Trip is an option!

HOW DO I MAKE MY BOOKING?

When you’re ready to secure your spot on the trip just go to the top right of the trip page and:

3: Fill in the traveller contact and payment details then choose whether you want to pay the deposit or the full amount

The deposit is 15% of the trip price.

Men and women looking to feel great in a friendly and fun vegan environment. You do not have to be vegan to participate, everyone is welcome on a Vegan Adventure Holidays tour, we just ask that you come with an open mind, sense of adventure and for the duration of the trip do not consume and animal products.

ARE MEALS INCLUDED AND WHAT TYPE OF FOOD WILL WE BE EATING?

Yes, breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, all meals are plant-based and 100% vegan, you’ll be eating tasty, healthy whole foods.

WHO IS A TYPICAL VEGAN ADVENTURE HOLIDAYS CLIENT?

Anyone is welcome but we typically cater for vegan travellers and busy working professionals with limited time — think healthy, fun adventures for grown-ups!
